For the early birds already in the region, Fernando (Marta’s father) will welcome us in his Culinary Club (Sociedad Gastronómica) for a homemade dinner. You will understand why Thomas comes back so often to the Basque Country.

We will meet in Ole tú! Café, and head to the Sociedad altogether.

Ezcaray
To start the weekend in the best possible way, or to relax after a long journey to la Rioja, we invite you to join us for an evening of good food and good company, in the charming town of Ezcaray. No dress code, just come as you are.

For those who want to stay a little longer with us, we will be showing you around Vitoria, Marta’s birth place and capital city of the Spanish Basque Country.
Let us know in the RSVP if you plan on staying so we can give you the full experience : easy hike in the morning amongst the hills surrounding the city, lunch at the Culinary Club of Marta’s family, and finally a visit of the cathedral that inspired Ken Folett’s Pillars of the Earth. The Grand Tour.
